スイス・アールガウ州ミュリゲン近く、高速道路のそばの「ヴィンケルアッハー」と呼ばれる森で、林道から外れた藪の中に、オレンジ色の牧草梱包機が隠されているのが月曜に見つかった。
機械には白い文字で「CB 104」と書かれていた。畑で干し草や藁の梱を集めて運ぶための農業機械である。
のちに持ち主が警察に届け出た。機械は盗まれたものだった。
最新の調べでは、この梱包機は隣のバーゼル＝ラント準州の農家から盗まれたものだった。バーゼル＝ラント警察が捜査を始めている。
なぜ森の奥まで運び込まれ、隠されたのかは、分かっていない。
In a forest called Winkelacher near Mülligen, Aargau, beside the motorway, an orange hay baler was found on Monday hidden in undergrowth off the forest track.
The machine was marked 'CB 104' in white. It is farm equipment for gathering and carrying bales of hay or straw in the fields.
The owner later reported it to the police. The machine had been stolen.
According to the latest findings, the baler had been stolen from a farm in the neighbouring canton of Basel-Landschaft. The Basel-Landschaft police have opened an investigation.
Why it was carried deep into the forest and hidden is not known.
