In the village of Klompangan, Ajung, Jember, East Java, Indonesia, at 4:50 a.m. on 5 February 2026, a sengon tree branch broke.

A fairly large branch snapped suddenly before dawn and fell across the road. The road was completely blocked, and local traffic was halted for a time. No one was hurt, and no vehicles were damaged.

To prevent congestion and accidents, traffic was diverted for a time into the car park of a warehouse across the road, the 'Berkah Lancar Jaya.'

The first response was carried out by volunteer residents working together. The record names the six who dealt with it: Teguh Adi, Muji, Gaduh, Didi, Rijal and Mashuri. The disaster agency, the army and the municipal order unit also took part.

Even at the time of the report, the power company's cables were still hanging down in front of the warehouse, a danger that remained, it notes.

The event is kept as a record on the village's official website. It had been viewed three hundred and seventy-four times.
