On the afternoon of August 14, 2025, the Sikumana neighborhood in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, held an inter-district soccer tournament organized by the local youth group Karang Taruna, with one entry rule: every player had to wear a daster (a loose housedress) and sandals.

Some players accessorized with scarves or straw hats. The tournament pitted representative teams from different neighborhoods against each other, culminating in a final between RW4 and RW6.

The first half ended 1-1, sending the match to a penalty shootout, which RW4 won 4-3. Residents reportedly cheered and laughed from the sidelines, while players took the match seriously despite the costume constraints.
