ブータン西部ハ県のサンベイカ地区で6月27日、アモチュ川流域では初めてとなるシロハラサギ（Ardea insignis）が記録された。シロハラサギは絶滅危惧IA類（Critically Endangered）に分類される。今回の記録により、ブータンの主要5河川流域すべてでこの鳥の生息が確認されたことになった。国営紙クエンセルは「ブータンの保全の歩みにおける歴史的な節目」と伝えた。サンベイカはハ県のドゥンカグ（郡内行政区）で、記録地点はアモチュ川の流域にある。クエンセルが7月8日に報じた。
In the Sangbaykha area of Haa district in western Bhutan, a white-bellied heron, Ardea insignis, was recorded on June 27, the first ever in the Amochhu river basin. The white-bellied heron is classified as Critically Endangered. With this record, the bird's presence has now been confirmed in all five of Bhutan's major river basins. The state-owned newspaper Kuensel called it a historic milestone in Bhutan's conservation journey. Sangbaykha is a dungkhag, a sub-district, of Haa, and the recording site lies in the Amochhu basin. Kuensel reported it on July 8.
