In Claver, a municipality at the north-eastern tip of Mindanao in the province of Surigao del Norte, the southern Philippines, 13 September 2025 was made a special non-working day.

This was set by Proclamation No. 994, issued on 8 August in the name of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. The reason given was to give the people of Claver a full opportunity to take part in and enjoy the celebration of the town's founding anniversary, "Adlaw Nan Claver." The day off applies only within Claver.

The proclamation was one of eight signed on the same day. The other seven each set a local day off - within one town or city only - for a founding or charter anniversary, or for a festival such as a tuna festival or a festival of light.
